AquaForte – Fan Motor for Heat Pump 18 kW (SC985)

This is the genuine OEM replacement fan motor for the AquaForte Full Inverter Heat Pump 18 kW (model SC985). It drives the axial fan that draws air across the evaporator coil, making it a critical component for the heat exchange process and overall heating or cooling performance. Sourced directly from Fluidra’s official spare parts catalogue, it corresponds to position 8 in the SC985 exploded view.

Compatibilitat

This motor is designed exclusively for the AquaForte Full Inverter Heat Pump 18 kW, model code SC985. It is not a universal part — always verify your heat pump’s model code before ordering. If you are unsure, cross-reference the exploded view diagram (position 8) available from Fluidra’s official spare parts portal.

Per què l'autenticitat importa

The SC985 uses full inverter technology, meaning fan speed is modulated continuously to match demand. A genuine OEM motor is engineered to work precisely with the inverter control board, ensuring correct speed response, safe current draw, and quiet operation. Non-OEM alternatives risk triggering error codes, voiding any remaining warranty, or causing premature failure of associated components.

Instal·lació

Replacement of the fan motor involves accessing the top section of the heat pump cabinet, disconnecting the motor wiring harness, and unbolting the motor mounting plate. We recommend this work be carried out by a qualified pool heating technician or HVAC engineer. Always isolate the unit from mains power before beginning any service work.
