This is the genuine OEM grey combi (combination) PVC brush for the Dolphin Supreme M5 — the passive scrubbing roller that mounts at the standard-mouth opening and makes direct contact with the pool floor and walls on every pass. It combines a rigid PVC bristle strip with a smooth landing zone that accepts a sponge climbing ring, giving the M5 traction on smooth, tiled, and liner surfaces alike.

What this combi brush does in the Dolphin

The combi brush rotates against the pool surface as the M5’s drive motors turn the brush axle, loosening settled debris and directing it into the suction mouth. The smooth channel running along the brush body is where the separate climbing ring seats, enabling the robot to grip and climb walls rather than slipping back to the floor. Without a serviceable brush, debris pickup drops sharply and wall-climbing becomes unreliable.

Remove the M5 from the water and release the side panels or brush-access clips on the underside — no tools required on most Supreme M5 builds. Slide the worn brush off the axle rod, slide the new one on in the same orientation (smooth channel facing outward), and clip the panels back. Refit your existing climbing ring onto the new brush’s smooth channel. The whole swap takes under five minutes.
